Dilatometer DIL 802L
Differential measurement between two sample under air

Zoom DIL801

The differential dilatometer DIL 802L is designed for high accuracies and use under air within the temperature range of -160°C to 1720°C.

Here the difference between a sample and an inert sample is measured and by this the DIL 802L reaches high accuracies even near room temperatures.

By simply converting, the dilatometer can also be used as a one-sample dilatometer. The measuring head is thermally stabilized and insensitive to shocks. Easily interchangeable measuring systems made of fused silica and Al2O3 may be used. The temperature measurement is carried out with thermocouples (type K, S, B). The inductive sensor (L.V.D.T.) has a resolution of 50nm. Various certified reference materials for the calibration of the equipment are on offer.

The entire electronics works digitally and with an own processor system to control the furnaces, the measuring data recording and the safety devices.

The professional 32-Bit software WinTA 9.0 runs under Windows®98, ME, 2000, NT4.0, XP. An extensive software accurately and efficiently deals with both routine tasks and comprehensive evaluations. Export functions as tables in the ASCII and Excel format as well as a graphic file output in the formats BMP, JPG, TIF, EMF etc. enable a cross-platform work.
