The single-sample dilatometer DIL 801 is suited for high accuracies and measurement under vacuum or inert gas within the temperature range of -160°C to 2400°C.

The measuring head is thermally stabilized and insensitive to shocks. Easily interchangeable measuring systems made of fused silica, Al₂O₃, sapphire, graphite and tungsten may be used.
The temperature measurement is carried out with thermocouples (type K, S, B, C) and radiation pyrometers.

The inductive sensor (L.V.D.T.) shows a resolution of 10nm.
There are on offer various certified reference materials for the calibration of the equipment.
The entire electronics operates digitally and is equipped with an own processor system to control the furnaces, the measuring data recording, the gas supply, the vacuum unit and the safety devices.

The professional 32-Bit software WinTA 9.0 runs under Windows^®98, ME, 2000, NT4.0, XP.
An extensive software accurately and efficiently deals both routine task and complex evaluations. Export functions as tables in ASCII- and Excel format and a graphic file output in the formats BMP, JPG, TIF, EMF etc, enable a cross-platform work.
